Turbine flow meters are widely used in the following measurement objects: oil, organic liquid, inorganic liquid, liquefied gas, natural gas, gas and low temperature fluid. In the foreign liquefied petroleum gas, refined oil and light crude oil transfer and gathering stations, the first and last stations of large crude oil pipeline are widely used for trade settlement. Turbine flowmeters in Europe and the United States are second only to orifice flowmeters for natural gas metering. The Netherlands alone has adopted more than 2600 gas turbine flowmeters of various sizes and pressures from 0.8 MPa to 6.5 MPa. They have become excellent natural gas flowmeters.
